Why a twin has to be verified before it exists
A convincing copy of a person is only useful if everyone involved can trust where it came from. That is why IdClone puts verification first and generation second. Your legal team gets a consent record per clone, your audience can see a visible AI-generated label on every export, and content credentials metadata travels inside each file.
A twin of a colleague is possible only when that colleague records their own footage and their own consent from an invite sent to them. You cannot upload someone else's video and build a twin from it. Politicians, public figures and celebrities are blocked, and impersonation, fraud, deception and adult content are not allowed. Is an AI digital twin the same as a stock avatar
No. A stock avatar is a stranger who recorded footage for a library. Your digital twin is built only from your own recording and voice, so it carries your face, your voice and the trust people already have in you.
Can I build a digital twin of someone else
Only if that person records their own footage and spoken consent from an invite sent to them. You cannot build a twin from someone else's existing videos, and public figures are blocked entirely.
How long does it take to build my twin
The recording session takes a few minutes: two minutes of video, sixty seconds of voice, the selfie check and the consent phrase. After the twin is built you render videos straight from the script editor.
Will viewers know the video is AI-generated
Every export can carry a visible AI-generated label and content credentials metadata. We recommend telling your audience, and many teams leave the label on by default.
