AI video translator that keeps your face and your voice
Write or record a video once in English and publish it in Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese and 30+ other languages, presented by you, in your own voice, with lips that match each language. IdClone shows you the translated script before anything renders, so product terms, names and tone are right in every version.
AI video translation without a stranger's voice
Classic translation gives you subtitles or a voice actor who sounds nothing like the speaker. AI video translation in IdClone keeps the person. Your voice clone speaks the translated text with your timbre, and lip sync adjusts your mouth to the new language, so a viewer in Madrid or Munich sees and hears the same trainer, founder or rep as the English audience.
It works in two directions. Start from a typed script in Script to video and pick target languages before the first render, or start from existing footage of yourself and translate it afterwards.
How to translate a video with AI in IdClone
Nothing is rendered until you approve the text. On Business and Enterprise a reviewer role can sign off each language before it is published.
- 1Choose the source: a new script or an uploaded video of you
- 2Pick target languages from the list
- 3Read each translation in the side by side editor and change any line
- 4Add brand terms to the pronunciation dictionary so they are spoken correctly everywhere
- 5Render, review and export each language version in 1080p, or in 4K on Pro and above
Why review before render matters
Machine translation is good at sentences and weak at context. It may translate a product name, pick a formal tone for a casual audience or turn a legal term into its everyday cousin. Fixing that after rendering costs minutes and time. In IdClone you see the translation as text first, edit it like a document, then spend minutes only on the version you approved.
Keep brand and feature names untranslated
Adjust tone for the market (formal German, informal Spanish)
Shorten lines that run long in the target language
Ask a native speaking colleague to review as a reviewer in your workspace

How translation uses your minutes
Translated versions count their length against your avatar video minutes. A three minute video translated into two languages uses nine minutes: three for the original and three for each translation.
| Plan | Price billed yearly | Avatar video minutes per month | Languages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $24 a month ($288 a year) | 8 | 10 |
| Pro | $74 a month ($888 a year) | 25 | 30+ |
| Business | $249 a month ($2,988 a year) | 90 | 30+ |
| Enterprise | $749 a month ($8,988 a year) | 300 | 30+ |
Monthly billing is $49, $149, $499 and $1,499, and yearly billing saves 50 percent. There is no free plan. See IdClone pricing for every detail.
Your voice in every language, still with consent
Translation does not loosen any rule. The video must show you or a teammate whose own verified clone and consent recording are in your workspace. Public figures, politicians and celebrities are blocked, and no identity documents are uploaded or processed. Each translated export can carry a visible AI-generated label and content credentials metadata. Read the full consent and safety rules.
Translator, dubbing and lip sync
The translator is the full flow from text to finished video. If you already have a finished video and only need the soundtrack replaced, AI video dubbing covers that case, and the mouth matching itself is described on the lip sync AI page. The voice part relies on voice cloning of your own voice.
Questions and answers
Which languages does the AI video translator support
Starter includes 10 languages and Pro, Business and Enterprise include 30+, including Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
Does my voice really sound like me in another language
Your voice clone keeps your timbre and pace in the target language. Your accent carries over slightly, the way it would if you spoke the language yourself.
Can I edit the translation
Yes. Every translated script opens as editable text before rendering, and nothing is spent until you approve it.
Do I need subtitles as well
Captions are generated for each language and styled with your brand kit on Pro and above. You can export the video with or without them.
Can I translate a video of a guest speaker
Only if the guest has their own verified clone in your workspace, created from their own invite with their own consent recording.
