Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the idclone.com service, including the website, your account, Clone studio and everything you render with it. By creating an account you agree to them. Last updated: October 20, 2026.
The service
IdClone builds a verified AI clone of you from your own recording, a video clone and a voice clone, and lets you create videos and audio from typed scripts, translate them and deliver them through your account or the API. The service is operated by the administrator of the idclone.com service, reachable at support@idclone.com.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You keep your login details secret and you are responsible for activity in your account. If you create an account for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company to these terms. Team owners are responsible for the seats and roles they assign.
Subscriptions and billing
IdClone is sold only as a subscription, monthly or yearly. There is no free plan, no credits and no one time purchase. Current prices are on the pricing page: Starter $49 a month or $24 a month billed yearly ($288), Pro $149 or $74 ($888), Business $499 or $249 ($2,988), Enterprise $1,499 or $749 ($8,988). The yearly price is 50 percent lower than twelve monthly payments and is charged in full at the start of each year.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each paid period at the price then in effect for your plan, until you cancel. We tell you about a price change by email before it applies to your next renewal. Prices are in US dollars and taxes are added where the law requires.
Plans and minutes
Each plan includes a number of personal clones, avatar video minutes and voice clone minutes per month, languages, export resolution and seats, as listed on the pricing page. Minutes are counted as the length of finished output and reset at the start of each billing month; unused minutes do not carry over. Translated versions count their length against video minutes, and API renders draw from the same video minutes. Deleting a video or a clone does not return the minutes already used. A daily render limit per account protects the service from abuse.
Upgrades and downgrades
When you move to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing, the difference for the rest of the current period is charged right away, and the higher plan becomes active once that payment goes through. If the payment fails, you stay on your current plan. A move to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal, and no part of the current period is refunded.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan, minutes and clones stay available until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, rendering stops and you can still delete your clones and download your files for 30 days.
Payments are final
All payments are final and non refundable, including when you cancel during a paid period or do not use your minutes. We refund only in three cases: a double charge for the same period, a charge you show was not authorized by you, or a period in which the service was completely unavailable through our fault. To request one of these, write to support@idclone.com within 30 days of the charge. If you are a consumer, any statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
Consent and acceptable use
A clone may be built only of your own likeness or of a person who records their own consent through their own invite. You must not create, attempt to create or use content of public figures, politicians or celebrities, impersonate anyone, deceive or defraud, produce adult content, or produce anything related to identity documents. The full rules are in the acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms.
AI label and provenance
Every export carries content credentials metadata identifying it as AI-generated, and you may add a visible AI-generated label. You must not remove or alter content credentials in order to mislead, and where a law or a platform you publish on requires disclosure of AI-generated content, you are responsible for making it.
Who owns what
You own your recordings, your clone, your scripts and the videos and audio you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process them only to provide the service to you, and that license ends when you delete them, subject to the retention described in the privacy policy. Your recordings are never used to train shared models. We own the IdClone software, website and brand; your subscription gives you the right to use them, not to copy or resell them.
Suspension and termination for misuse
We may suspend a clone or an account immediately when we have reason to believe it breaks the acceptable use policy, for example after a credible misuse report, and we close accounts that do. Payments for an account closed for misuse are not refunded. You may close your account at any time.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and secure. Except for the uptime SLA included in the Enterprise plan, the service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for the scripts you write and for how you publish the videos you create, and you will cover claims that arise from your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to account owners at least 14 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
